Driving license D

A bus is a motor vehicle equipped to transport more than eight persons, not including the driver.
Driving a bus requires a driver’s license. Driving license D allows you to tow a trailer with a maximum authorised mass of 750 kilograms. Those wishing to carry a heavier trailer need a driving license DE.

Especially for drivers of smaller buses with up to 16 seats, the D1 driving license has been introduced. A D1 bus may have a maximum length of 8 meters.
