Educational Measure Behaviour and Traffic

The educational measure behaviour and traffic is also called the lout course. You qualify for this course if your behaviour in traffic is not normal, such as speeding, tailgating, or deliberately driving through red traffic lights.

If you have come into contact with the police because you have shown dangerous driving behaviour and broken traffic rules, the CBR will be notified. For example, if you drove too fast at 60 kilometers per hour or more inside or outside a built-up area. Or because at least two offences were detected in one trip, for example, speeding by 50 km/h or more in combination with another offence, such as tailgating or driving through a red light.

Following the report, the CBR invites you to this fun, compulsory course, which costs approximately 1,500 euros.

The course consists of a one-hour personal interview, a full-day meeting, plus two four-hour sessions.

You may continue to drive while taking the course. Sometimes, the judge has ruled that you are temporarily prohibited from driving.
If you take the course, you may keep your driving license. If you do not cooperate, your driving license will be invalidated.
