Autoweg

autoweg

The speed limit on an autoweg is 100 kilometers per hour outside built-up areas. Within built-up areas, the speed limit on an autoweg is 50 kilometers per hour, unless otherwise indicated by traffic signs.
Only motor vehicles capable of and permitted to drive at least 50 km/h are allowed to use an autoweg.

The CBR may also ask what the minimum speed is on an autoweg. You must then answer that there is no minimum speed on an autoweg. When a bridge is open or there is a stationary traffic jam on an autoweg, everyone is stationary, and logically, there is no minimum speed.

Drivers of a motor vehicle with more than two wheels, stationary in parking lanes, lay-bys, and hard shoulders located along autowegen, must use their parking lights and taillights during the day if visibility is seriously impaired, and at night.

Drivers are prohibited from turning or reversing their vehicle on an autoweg.

It is prohibited to leave a vehicle stationary on the carriageway of an autoweg.

Except in emergencies, road users are prohibited from using the hard shoulder, the emergency lane, or the shoulder of an autoweg.
