Carriageway

Cars, lorries and motorcycles drive on the carriageway. A bicycle path, or a bicycle/moped path is not part of the carriageway.
A carriageway can be divided into two, three, four, or more lanes.
If a rush-hour lane is open, it is part of the carriageway.

Carriageway: any section of road designated for moving vehicles, excluding cycle paths and cycle/moped paths.
