Snorfiets – light moped

snorfiets

The speed limit for a moped is 25 kilometers per hour. A snorfiets must have a blue license plate on the rear.
A moped is not a motor vehicle, but a motor carriage.

Snorfiets riders are required to wear a properly fitting helmet.

Snorfiets riders are required to ride on the bicycle path or cycle/moped path. In some cities, such as Amsterdam, snorfiets riders are no longer allowed on the cycle path. Snorfiets riders are then required to ride on the roadway.
