Overtaking just before or on a pedestrian crossing

By law, you cannot overtake vehicles just before or at a pedestrian crossing. Of course, if a vehicle is stopped at a pedestrian crossing to let pedestrians cross, it is reckless to overtake. How often this happens in practice is not normal. Pedestrians are unsure of their lives because of this kind of antisocial behaviour, even though they are allowed to cross without being in mortal danger.
Remember that a cyclist is also a vehicle. You are also not allowed to overtake a cyclist just before or on a pedestrian crossing. Not even if the cyclist is riding on a bicycle lane, as shown.
A minor oversight by the legislator is that it states you are not allowed to overtake vehicles just before or on a pedestrian crossing. Indeed, this means that you are not allowed to overtake cyclists either, which is still understandable. However, you would be allowed to overtake one or more horses, because a horse is not considered a vehicle.
