Diverging priority road
A priority road doesn’t always go straight ahead; it can also bend to the right or left. You can see this from the priority road or priority junction signs shown below.
Below these signs are bottom plates that indicate the direction the priority road bends. The priority road can bend to the left or right. The thick line on the additional sign indicates the priority road, while the thin line or lines indicate the side roads.
In this situation, the blue car goes first. It’s driving on the diverging priority road and will continue on it. The yellow car is approaching a priority road and must yield to traffic on the diverging priority road.
Both cars are approaching a diverging priority road here. Because they’re both approaching a priority road, it’s essentially a priority uncontrolled junction between the two drivers. Because the yellow car is coming from the right, the blue car must yield to the yellow car.
The cyclist is riding on the diverging priority road. The blue car and the pedestrian must yield to the cyclist.
