Parking – Traffic signs

If sign E1 (No Parking) is placed, you may not park on the carriageway on the side of the road where the sign is placed. You may, however, park on the far and road sections with a parking restriction.
On the other side of the carriageway, as shown, you may park, because the sign only applies to the side of the carriageway where the sign is placed.
Note: At sign E1, you are allowed to stand still.

If a parking sign displays text or an image, only the vehicles listed on the sign are permitted to park. However, you may stand still where parking is prohibited to let a passenger in or out immediately, and to load or unload.
If a bottom plate under traffic signs E4 through E8, E12, and E13 indicates days or times, the instructions or prohibitions arising from the sign or bottom plate apply only during the indicated days or times.
