Standing still – Bus lane

You are not allowed to drive in a bus lane. Therefore, you are also not allowed to stop in a bus lane.
You are also allowed to stop just barely in the lane next to a bus lane.
Sometimes there is a small lane at a bus stop, but the word “bus” or “lijnbus” is not displayed. You are allowed to stop briefly to let passengers on or off immediately. In the image above, the word “LIJNBUS” is displayed. In that case, you are not allowed to stop at the bus stop.

You are not allowed to drive on a carriageway for buses at all, it is only for buses. But…. Along a bus carriageway, you are allowed to stand still and park.
