Yellow line

solid yellow line

If a solid yellow line is drawn along the side of the carriageway, as in the image above, it means you are not allowed to stop on the carriageway. Mopeds are allowed to stop and park on the sidewalk.

broken yellow line

If a broken yellow line is drawn along the side of the carriageway, as in the image above, you are not allowed to park on the carriageway. Stopping to load or unload, or to let a passenger in or out, is permitted. Stopping to ask for directions, for example, is not allowed.
Mopeds are allowed to stop and park on the sidewalk in this case.

These solid and broken yellow lines only apply to the side of the carriageway where they are drawn.

Remember that a solid yellow line is completely yellow. You are not allowed to stop at all when it is completely yellow.
A broken yellow line consists of two colors: yellow, then gray, then yellow, then gray, and so on. With two colors, you are allowed to do two things: let a passenger in or out immediately, and load or unload. Nothing else.
