Excellent load

Loads transported on a trailer may not protrude beyond the front of the trailer.
Loads transported on the roof of a car may protrude beyond the front. The load must be indivisible, such as planks, surfboards, canoes, slats, and the like.
Divisible loads may not protrude beyond the front of the car.
Rule 1.
If the indivisible load is longer than the car, it may protrude 1 meter at the front and/or rear.
Rule 2.
Divisible loads may never protrude beyond the front of a car.
Rule 3.
If the load protrudes more than 1 meter beyond the rear or front of vehicles other than a car or a commercial vehicle up to 3,500 kg, a warning sign must be installed.
Rule 3 can therefore never apply to a passenger car, because in that case the dimensions of the indivisible load are limited to the dimensions of the vehicle plus 1 metre at the front and 1 metre at the rear.
